Designing your journey to fluent Hungarian
The challenge
Unlike English or German — where you can find endless free stuff online — Hungarian is still waiting for its library of optimal input. Learners don’t yet have much access to Hungarian content that’s fun and easy to understand.
With other languages, I want students to become independent as soon as possible. With Hungarian, you’ll probably need a helping hand for longer, because there is very little useful and interesting reading and listening content that is readily understandable.
Want to learn Hungarian? Tutoring is not sufficient.
To grow in the language, you need much more than just participate in sessions. You need daily listening and reading practice that you enjoy. If you join the Playground, you’ll get all the extras you need:
- Your private library: Full video and audio recordings of every session, customized to your level.
- Daily input: Personalized content for your morning coffee or commute.
- Long-term value: A growing archive of natural Hungarian that evolves as you do.
How to get access to existing Hungarian content
A sampling of such content is on the Recordings page. If you join the Playground, you’ll have access to a much larger curated library of existing Hungarian content.
How this content grows with you
The real magic happens during and after our sessions. New content is created specifically for you, tailored to your needs and interests.
How custom-made content is shared
- Your private sessions: Recordings of our live interaction (with your voice and image) remain strictly private. They are yours to review whenever you need. I will never share them publicly without your explicit permission.
- The public archive: Custom stories, vocabulary hooks, and exercises I create for you may be added to the public Playground library anytime. This helps future learners while you refine your skills. You’ll also have access to content created with other learners to get more exposure to the language if you like.
With stories and interaction, you gain Hungarian fluency
While most courses trap you in grammar drills, my goal in the Playground is to help you gain true fluency. You’ll understand spoken colloquial Hungarian and speak spontaneously, without the struggle of assembling sentences in your head.
